Agile Transformation – Culture, Engagement, and Agile Practices
With the rise of fintechs and the expansion of digital banking technologies, Banco Original, the first fully digital bank in Brazil, sought a trusted partner to support its digital transformation journey.
In 2018, Meta initiated the Agile Transformation Journey at Banco Original, fostering cultural change, engagement, and the adoption of agile practices.
The main challenge of this transformation was to enable three key organizational pillars—crucial for differentiation in the digital banking sector:
✔ Time to Market
✔ Delivery Pace
✔ Focus on Value and Quality
Among the results already achieved, the following stand out: the expansion of the account base by 375%, the reduction of 80% in the time for new launches, and the increase of 65% in time to market, resulting from the implementation of agile methodologies in various areas of the organization, which also impacted the improvement of engagement, productivity, and quality indicators.
Furthermore, in just a year and a half of this partnership, Banco Original saw results by acquiring 5x more customers and increasing its credit portfolio by 7x.
In addition, Meta promoted the creation of Original Labs, a strategic unit focused on constantly bringing innovation to the business core, driving a series of innovations and new business opportunities.
Fabio Lins, Executive Superintendent of Channels at Banco Original, highlights Meta’s differentiator:
“Meta put people at the center of the solution, working collaboratively, with business and technology areas operating within the same squad.”
