Lavoro partners with Meta for the implementation and maintenance of its ERP, essential for ensuring robust and reliable business expansion.
Grupo Lavoro, the leading agricultural input distributor in Latin America, has been at the forefront of one of the largest agribusiness acquisitions in Brazil in recent years. The group has been using SAP S/4HANA since 2020, when it began its partnership with Meta. The choice of a robust and reliable ERP system, aligned with the company’s core values—presence, stability, modernity, and trust—was crucial for Lavoro’s growth strategy, which includes acquiring new companies.
Agrozap was one of the companies integrated into Grupo Lavoro, expanding its presence in southeastern Brazil. Already a market leader in the region, Agrozap strengthened Lavoro’s reach and market density. With this acquisition, the group partnered with Meta once again to roll out the SAP S/4HANA project for Agrozap. “Grupo Lavoro saw SAP as a robust, highly reliable, and well-integrated system, key factors in supporting the company’s rapid expansion and growth in recent years. With Agrozap joining the group, it was only natural to implement the same system, as ERP is a strategic pillar for the entire company,” says Cristiane Flora, Systems Manager at Lavoro.
Meta’s partnership with Lavoro began with the implementation of SAP S/4HANA in 2020, and since then, Meta has been providing ongoing support as an AMS partner. When Grupo Lavoro decided on the SAP S/4HANA rollout for Agrozap, Meta was invited to compete for the project.
